Freya Martin is a journalist and editor who explores style, art, travel, and popular culture. Most recently she has edited and led the design of Clamour, a lifestyle magazine which acts as an alternative to anodyne glossy publications, as a means of providing optimism for young people living in Britain despite the social and political climate.

Graduating with First Class Honours from BA Fashion Journalism at Central Saint Martins in 2020, her work experience ranges from research, archive and editorial work at The Financial Times, to collaborating on content-led projects at COS, to babysitting for rent money. She has interviewed a variety of high profile subjects, including fashion designer, Margaret Howell; photographer, Jamie Hawkesworth; BAFTA-winning director and story-writer of This Country, Tom George; and Channel 4 News anchorman, Jon Snow. Along with writing, she enjoys research-led projects, experimenting with graphic design and washing her hands thoroughly.
